Breathe in, Breathe out
Mar. 15th, 2007 06:49 pmI'm going insane right now, because Harvard Divinity mailed their decisions today, and they don't put them online, and I'm waiting to hear from them. Please let me come to your program. You know you need a knittingy archaeological hobbit to diversify the student body. Hobbits are a minority population...
I'm keeping the GIS class, because Dr. Tomlin said I could make up the assignments at my own pace, and I'm not as behind as I think I am, and the next few assignments will be mindless, and we have next week off. So I feel less stressed.
And I finally finished the beret, taking it in so it actually can fit a human head. And I gave it to Jenny today and she loves it. Black is her favorite color (not that black is a color...)
Yes, I know. Still no China pictures. I'll put them up when I have space on my computer and am not days behind in work. Ok?

Back from China
Mar. 12th, 2007 03:36 amI'm back. It was amazing. I'm too tired to put up pictures and describe everything in detail. It might take even a few weeks, as now I am in thesis mode. I've read no one's LJ, so e-mail me if there is something important you want me to see.
I will say that China actually has blocked LJ for the past week or so, since there's this big government conference going on and they don't want things leaking out. I didn't even bother checking LJ when I was gone, so either way you wouldn't have heard from me.
More to come later. My medication that makes me sleepy is kicking in if it doesn't already show in the grammar and spelling.

noam_rion gave me. I ate some then, some yesterday, gave some away, and the rest are coming to China.
I'm headed off to China tomorrow morning. I think I'm all packed.
And a lot happened last night, in a good way, and I might say more about it later. Let's just say I'm having a string of good Luck.

I can do the Saturday night megillah just fine. Worst comes to worst I miss a megillah reading. I could read it for myself or something...
The flight there gets in on Friday afternoon. So I would fly early, and get to the Hotel on Thursday.
The flight home is Sunday, 6pm. No problem at all.
So really there's just Suzhou to Shanghai. (gah, it only links to their index. Click on "Asia" then "2007 trips" and then "classic China" and you'll see what I'm doing.) Maybeplus_c you could be on call and I'll make a very long distance phone call in case I get horribly lost...does that sound good to you?
It's a race, it's the Amazing Race...Ok, only one person would get that reference, because I had to remember that there aren't actual lyrics in The Amazing Race's theme song.
But it totally is an Amazing Race. Do I get to meet Phil?
