Back from China

I'm back. It was amazing. I'm too tired to put up pictures and describe everything in detail. It might take even a few weeks, as now I am in thesis mode. I've read no one's LJ, so e-mail me if there is something important you want me to see.

I will say that China actually has blocked LJ for the past week or so, since there's this big government conference going on and they don't want things leaking out. I didn't even bother checking LJ when I was gone, so either way you wouldn't have heard from me.

More to come later. My medication that makes me sleepy is kicking in if it doesn't already show in the grammar and spelling.

You must have talked to alishainchina. Yeah. Human Frogger. Quite scary, though I got to be decent at it by the end of the trip. I'm much better at eating with chopsticks, though. I plan to use chopsticks here in the US. I do not plan to play human Frogger here, though.

Hahaha, that would be standard operating procedure to cross streets in Mainland China. I've played human Frogger many times, and I have to say I vastly prefer Hong Kong, where the solution is to just build a pedestrian bridge over the intersection.
