A Decemberists concert, and good news.

It was good, though not as good as the one I went to in November. This time there were seats, so we were further from the stage, and there wasn't as much dancing and awesomeness. Though we did go to the front for the last 2 songs. And I got to meet a new hobbit!! And thesis cookies abounded. Everyone loves thesis cookies!

Anyways, it's fitting that today I got an e-mail that my family got tickets to see the Colbert Report on May 16th. (This is why)

Here I was wishing that Colbert would be our graduation speaker. After all- he's spoken at other schools. And Penn is pretty prestigous. But no, we have James Baker. I'm considering sending Colbert an e-mail that he should make an appearance at our graduation. Maybe have a show-down against James Baker. That would be awesome.

No, I've seen the Decemberists twice. I've never seen Colbert. And yes, I do want to go.

Oh. Hah. I had started this entry earlier and had a decemberists-related title, then when i restarted it, it didn't save the title. so i must have forgot. and i was like "why did he think i've seen colbert twice?" but no. i've seen the Decemberists. Who are awesome. Someone actually yelled at the concert "Colbert rules!" or something like that.
