A Decemberists concert, and good news.
Mar. 28th, 2007 09:21 pmIt was good, though not as good as the one I went to in November. This time there were seats, so we were further from the stage, and there wasn't as much dancing and awesomeness. Though we did go to the front for the last 2 songs. And I got to meet a new hobbit!! And thesis cookies abounded. Everyone loves thesis cookies!
Anyways, it's fitting that today I got an e-mail that my family got tickets to see the Colbert Report on May 16th. (This is why)
Here I was wishing that Colbert would be our graduation speaker. After all- he's spoken at other schools. And Penn is pretty prestigous. But no, we have James Baker. I'm considering sending Colbert an e-mail that he should make an appearance at our graduation. Maybe have a show-down against James Baker. That would be awesome.
