Cookies were eaten in Janet Monge's office, as we celebrated the Democratic victory. I'll probably bring more by the museum tomorrow, since I missed some people who had left early. I did get to speak to Ben, who might be driving to the ASOR conference (which would be quite shiny). And I gave him a cookie.
Everyone liked the cookies. I ate half of one, and thought "well, there are cookies down in mashingland, so I can just have one of those."
Unfortunately there are none right now. And my precious cookies are upstairs. And we're not supposed to bring in outside food here, no matter how kosher it is.
There is sushi, though. This is a new development. The sushi-lady is new to this kitchen, so I have to actually keep a watch and make sure she brings nothing in to or out of the pareve kitchen.
Meanwhile, I'm not sure who is covering this weekend mashingwise, but I'm not going to be around.
*Edit* they're out of chocolate chip cookies!!! [Though I did manage to get a smoothie, which is quite shiny.]
