For me, it lasts until the 2nd time I have some compelling desire to stay up late... Talking or hanging out with friends tends to do it. A good 4 am night or three should get you back to normal.
Hey dude I found that Ethiopian place that we all didn't eat at last week. Me and my friend Aaron (who just made aliyah and learned at Hamivtar 2 winters ago) ate a bunch of the vegetarian options, which were all delicious. The bread was sour, spongey, and mildly gelatinous, though. ew.
Me too. My main problem with the injera is that it's so sour. I remember having it in the past, and it wasn't so sour, but that could have been because it wasn't an Ethiopian making it. So i guess i like Wannabe Ethiopian bread more than the real thing :-) .
And then when the oils and liquids from the other foods soak it through, that's just nasty. It definitely needs to be on a separate plate (even though it's for picking up the food), like naan bread at Indian restaurants.
So I saw your comment and was like "why isn't he on IM? Is he at work?" The I realized that you're in Israel and probably not on a computer with IM or at least not on your computer. And definitely not at work. I should know that you're in Israel considering that I just saw you on Sunday!!! Wow. I'm really slow. Kinda like your mom!
That's gonna take a while. I'm having trouble staying up past 12. I guess I have to wait until school starts and I have homework that I'm procrastinating...
That should do it perfectly. Alternatively, you could try to build a schedule around that, but nighttime is so much more fun anyway. Better to abuse the coffee some more and have both.
But no one else is up this early, so it's not like it gives me anything to do. For example, my friend Bess and I are going shopping today, and she's getting up at 9! I guess I could have breakfast or something now, but that's it...
That's my favorite part about being up early. I have quiet time to myself to daven, eat, shower, have a cup of coffee and maybe listen to the news on the radio or something. It's my favorite time of day!
I don't get your point. I was saying I LIKE being up early. That is also true when I am in non-coffee drinking mode. And I am still getting up at around 6 (except for Shabbat) now, even though I have no schedule to keep except the one I set. I was saying that if your body is trying to get you up early, why is that a negative thing? Why is getting up later desirable? I understand that for some reason you think it is. I just don't get why.
If for some reason I'm anxious, I always wake up really really early. Like, 8am-ish, even when I don't need to - usually means I have something later in the morning I'm worried about sleeping through.
Though, depending on your class schedule come fall, this whole 7:30am thing could be really convenient!
