So today I went to mail my old battery back to Dell and my scarf to Mrs. Felder. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not biking to the library, but heading over to Hillel.

E-hobbit and I got into a debate with A, in which A said some things that really bothered me. He asked "is anyone doing anything fun today?" and I said "Can I play Goldenye with you so I can shoot you? Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I? Can I?"
So the debate ended in some Goldeneye. I had forgotten the controls, so in the 1st round A totally beat me. But then I got progressively better. [livejournal.com profile] masteraleph and J and L came in and joined the game. Then it turned to Super Smash Brothers.

Of course, I had been planning to start studying at 3:15. We stopped playing at 5:30, only because it was dinnertime.

I also had planned on going to the gym.

It's times like this when I hate myself for being so lazy, and easily distracted. I got nothing accomplished today besides the mailingness [which admittedly was a real accomplishment.] I did get a lot of reading done yesterday, so I might have earned the break, but I'd like to be further ahead in my work.

Ok. 25 minutes until Shani. I shall read until then.

Biscotti

[livejournal.com profile] levana_b and [livejournal.com profile] masteraleph and [livejournal.com profile] groovin_reuven are over. [livejournal.com profile] levana_b helped me make biscotti, which are currently cooling after the 1st baking. They need to be cut and then baked again before they're ready for eatingness. They smell good, and everyone is saying "Rachel! Why can't we eat them yet?" Um...because I don't want to cut them while they're burning hot...

I need to get more almond paste. It's an ingredient that requires a car to get to, or [livejournal.com profile] groovin_reuven's mom's car. Or in this case [livejournal.com profile] groovin_reuven's mom just gave me her almond paste. But I'd like to stock up so I can make biscotti on demand. It's an expensive recipe. Maybe I should sell them to cafe 209.
