Dangerous Radiation Levels
Sep. 26th, 2005 05:44 pmThe title is what DRL stands for [DRL being the building on 33rd and walnut that has all the math classes plus a bunch of random things, that everyone hates because it's far away and looks like a bathroom]. I went there today on a mission- to find Julius Shaneson [Josh's dad, undergrad chair of math department] and see if I could stay by them for Rosh Hashana or perhaps the 1st days of sukkot.
It turns out that they hadn't returned my call [made a week and a half ago] because their plans are up in the air. If Rina can't come home from Barnard, they're going up to NYC [since Josh is in Israel anyways]. They're also still unsure about sukkot, though they're more likely to be around then.
So now I'm not sure whether I want to stick around. I'm thinking of asking Sunnie Epstein, because I didn't go to her for passover, and she's really cool. If it's not too late to ask, that is.
In other news, I am the proud owner of the remains of the chocolate swan, which is still a significant amount of chocolate.
I also found out that Professor Fishman prints out responses on Monday morning, so from now on if it's 12am Sunday night and I haven't written a response yet, I'm fine. I'll do next week's now. And we have no class next Monday! [so people can get away for Rosh Hashana.]
Julie is coming over soon, and we shall make pizza. Huzzah!
