theyellowhobbit1. The Most Annoying Thing About Being Frum. What is it, in your opinion?
The whole modesty thing. Not the clothing, because that's fine, but everything else. I'm not good at not showing my talents and hoping some guy will just notice me, because that only works for pretty girls. I'm good at singing, and I can't sing in front of guys. Beyond that, it also sucks that I can't lead services, not only because I miss it, but also because the people who lead kabbalat shabbat rarely sing it. :(
2. Do you really want to come to Sziget next year? Really really?
Yes, if i could find a flight to Hungary that was cheap enough. And if I could stay by you.
3. Have you ever tried to convert people to a fandom? By force? ;] Hmmm... I'm trying to get people in to firefly. I've gotten people addicted to EFO [One of my favorite bands ever].
4. Do you have a Dark Secret you never posted about on LJ? (You don't have to tell what it is, just answer yes/no)
Sure, tons of them. But only the ones I'd never tell anyone. Most things that I'd tell some people end up on LJ, albeit filtered.
5. Do you remember the first time you've used a computer? What was it like?
Not at all. I've probably been using computers since I was 6. I used to play educational computer games and stuff, like reader rabbit. Man, I was so addicted to those things. I wanna go back and see if my mom still has them, just for amusement's sake.

Are you sure you want to do a summer archaeological dig? From what I hear, it's TEH SUNSTROKE. even here in Hungary. >_

Date: 2005-08-29 12:19 pm (UTC)I'd just drink lots of water. I tan well, and if I'm dressing tzniusly, I should be fine. I'd probably wear pants all summer while working, since I don't have any halachic issues against them, and in this case they'd probably be more tznius.
And if I start feeling sick I can always duck into a cave and take a break.
And yes, I know digs aren't like Indiana Jones, and you usually just find shards of pottery. But it's Israel!
