It's been a while

Allow me to recap the past few days:

Friday, Feb 20th


We had the LINKS service, which rocked. I gave my d'var t'filah, which was interesting to say the least.

I had taken some protective measures, which included wearing complete leopard print plus black lipstick. Basically a "hands off" kind of outfit.

After services was dinner, and after that was oneg. I stayed for a bit and went to Maurene's party.

Of course, after the party, Sean and I stayed over. This is when I realized I wasn't over him yet. I made him leave at like 5 am, and talked to Maurene...Rather, I cried to Maurene. Part of it was PMS I'm sure, but most of it was me not being over Sean. Fortunately I have the RJC retreat and my Israel trip to get over him. 3 weeks without Sean may be good.

Saturday, Feb 21

I love how I can get up woth only 2 hours of sleep. I actually knew my Torah portion this time, though my haftarah was iffy. Fortunately I could read it from a chumash, and all was well in CJC land.

After lunch I slept through the rest of Shabbat. When I woke up I got my computer fixed...I forgot to make havdallah, and then made an abbreviated one. Shlomo said I was fine if I had done Maariv, though sleeping through shabbat implies sleeping through maariv as well.

Josh, Joey, Ariela, Stephanie, and I all got together to watch The Meaning of Life and History of the World Part I.

Sunday, Feb 22

I managed to get up for Ariela's meet. She did well :)

Then I met with Rebecca Rosner about the retreat and we planned the program.

Then I went Northing. I visited 911-Livia Simone and Yaelle, 308-Meira, Dassi, Batya and Atara, they have food, and 212-Shlomo and Yosef.

Then I had the freshman leadership dinner. We got Cherry Street [kosher vegitarian chinese].

Then I had SNL.

Monday Feb 23

I never really got to study for the Hebrew test. I got an 84. Oh well.

I gave Maurene the fuzzy hat, which may become a fuzzy purse. Right now it's a fuzzy I don't know what. I'm just happy that I learned how to knit kitty armor.[This should make no sense...]

During dinner Joey had asked where Yosef was, so at 7ish I called him. Turns out he had slept all day after being up all night [poor thing] and I had actually woken him up and saved his ass.

After I visited Maurene I visited Yosef, which was a fun visit.

Tuesday Feb 24

So jam packed full of stuffness. I had Pardes, which rocked, and then the meeting for my Israel trip, which will rock.

Today

I didn't fall asleep in class. I consider that a great accomplishment.

I put together a service for teh RJC retreat. We have to figure out how the torah will be transported. More and more I feel uncomfortable with RJC services. I'm leading them, so hopefully it will be ok.
