12 days of Channukah

I love the Channukah Torah reading. It basically goes:

On the first day of Channukah my true love¹ gave to me² one silver dish,one silver basin, both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meal-offering; one golden pan of ten shekels, full of incense; one young bullock, one ram, one he-lamb of the first year; one male of the goats; two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, and five he-lambs of the first year.

It's pretty much the same thing over and over, with different names. And they come from different tribes. They all give the same gift. (Which makes it the easiest Torah reading ever.)

its to show that no one tribe or nasi (head of tribe) was greater than any other. all offerings were equal.
