Jan. 6th, 2008 01:10 amGaming at HRSFA was fun, although I got absolutely nothing accomplished besides a few rows on my scarf. I played a game of Settlers where the resource cards required me to stretch to get them, and after trying this once or twice and realizing how much pain this caused me, I gave up and had everyone else give me my resources, since I didn't want to further injure myself. At various points in the game there was meta-profanity on my part (ie "insert profanity here") but I guess I really am not the type to just start swearing for no good reason, even if I am in pain. I got very close to winning (9 points) but
brokenwndw pulled a monopoly card out at the last moment and won the game. So I have yet to win Settlers at HRSFA, though I think I am becoming a better player.
And then we played psychiatrist, which was awesome and full of hilarity. Though apparently people either think I'm more evil than I am or I'm nicer than I am.1
And I took drugs. Lots of drugs. I really am going to go to the doctor on Monday and get real drugs. This is ridiculous!
Nope, none to be found here.
Sleep. I should sleep, so I can return to a more normal sleep schedule.
alishainchina is coming over tomorrow, so I might not get work done then either. Maybe I'll get some done tomorrow morning.
1For the record, if someone asks about what my mom was like growing up, the correct answer is something along the lines of, "I don't know, but I can tell you about how your mom was last night!"
