I have a lot of people on my friends list. Some of you I know pretty well, some of you I've met IRL once or twice, and some of you I barely know at all. We might have something in common, or perhaps you read my LJ because my life is very different from yours.

So I'd like to know something about you, whether you be a random lurker or someone who I've been friends with since high school or someone who I see every day. It can be anything, such as "I hate the dark and will turn on every light in the room" or "I am fluent in 6 languages" or "I am addicted to chocolate."

So it would be cool if all of you responded.

Keep in mind that this is a public post, so would advise you not to put up anything you wouldn't be comfortable with the world knowing.

I was 19 when I learned to ride a bike.

Wow. What made you decide to learn eventually?

I was at a summer research program that had weekly field trips, one of which was a bike trip, and when I mentioned that I couldn't ride a bike one of the advisors offered to teach me. (I grew up in a place that wasn't great for biking...)

When I was little I loved dogs so much(not that I don't love them a lot now) that I said that when I grew up I wanted a house with two of every single breed of dog, except the smally yippy ones.
