Ok, this is a kind of meme, except more it's just questions I'm asking that you should comment with your answers, and you probably have no reason to repost. This is more for my reference.

What is your favorite color? (Or colors)
Are you allergic to any fibers (such as wool, for example)?
Do you like shiny things that keep you warm?

So filling this out does not guarantee you shiny things. I have 100+ people on my f-list, and knitting for everyone would be ridiculously insane. But it does mean that should I decide to make you something shiny at some point, it will be in your favorite color(s) and you (hopefully) won't be allergic to it.

2) I don't *think* so. I've worked with wool and alpaca and didn't have any reactions on my hands. And though I'm not allergic, the texture of acrylic/rayon/fake stuff bothers me.

Yes, I have a mild wool allergy. (I can wear wool coats, but it's not good for things that maintain direct contact with skin, like scarves and hats.)

So are you allergic to all wools then or just sheep's wool? (A lot of people have problems with the lanolin in sheep's wool, and are fine with other things such as llama and alpaca). Maybe next time I see you (minyan tomorrow?) I can bring my knitting (which I already do) and you can touch the llama and the alpaca I have and see if they make you itchy...

By using cheap acrylics. (Yes, I said it. That might make me not a knitter.)

My mom is allergic to all wool. She's been knitting with acrylics forever. Sometimes she will use novelty yarn. I feel bad that I can't spin her anything. (And that she has to work with acrylic. But she doesn't seem to mind.)

It's a name I had from elsewhere. Sen is from "Spirited Away" (Chihiro's name was changed to Sen), Sen-ichi would be the first Sen, and Rei is Rachel. Some people think I should switch my LJ name to "theyellowhobbit" but I like what I have.

Ah. In Japanese, if I wanted to find a common meaning for those, they'd be numbers. "Sen" is one thousand and "rei" is one way to say zero (most Japanese just say "zero" these days - rei is more like an empty set, nothing there), so I got "1000, 1, 0" out of your handle, which was trying to make sense and failing.
