Rachel's Recipe for Tea of Awesomeness
Sep. 23rd, 2007 11:09 amHere's a simple recipe which is pretty much foolproof.
Rachel's Recipe for Tea of Awesomeness:
1. Fill a kettle with water and boil the water in it
2. Put a tea bag, a pinch of loose-leaf tea, or pieces of cut up fresh ginger in a mug
3. Once the water is boiled, fill the mug 1/2 of the way with the water
4. Fill the rest of the mug with honey.
5. Stir, wait for it to cool down a bit so you don't burn your tongue, and enjoy!

Date: 2007-09-23 06:54 pm (UTC)May I suggest another mix that I just made up? I call it instead-of-fried rice.
You make some brown rice, and then you get some sliced extra-firm tofu, an egg, some chopped tomato and mushrooms. I kind of eyed the proportions so I can't say exactly what they are, but use whatever's good for you. First you sautee the tofu, tomato and mushrooms in a big pan or wok, then add the egg near the end and break it into little scrambly bits. Mix all this with the rice, and voila!
It's not phenomenal, but it tastes pretty good.
