There is DDR at my summer camp. Up until now I've ignored this and have just been teaching my classes, eating during my break, and then knitting until my next class. I figured that the staff weren't supposed to play it.

But then today one of my coworkers was playing DDR, so I asked her if I could take a turn. She said yes.

This started what will probably be either a terrible addiction, or the best thing that could happen to me at work.

The kids all play on light mode. I always play on light mode as well, since I never really got good enough to do standard. But I was usually pretty good on light mode. However, when I don't do DDR for a while I lose a lot of my skill.

Apparently I've still got it! I got As and Bs on all the songs that I did. Most of the kids like to do the same 2 or 3 songs, whereas I like to vary it and beat the unbeaten songs in order to unlock the new ones (which are the ones I like better.) Though we don't have a memory card, so each time they turn off the game, they have to start over again. Not that the kids notice or care. Maybe I should buy one for them.

I love DDR. It makes work a lot more fun!
