I'll also post when I have my naturey pictures from today up. I went to tree-land with L.L., I.L. and A.M. So much fun! So pretty! And we were in the sun and played frisbee!

And tonight we had a star-wars marathon. For some odd reason I'm still awake. Must be the lack of internet today, and needing to make up for it.

And I'm out of cookies. I have more ingredients . I might use them up and make more cookies, if there's demand.

I could definitely make some by then. Maybe I should wait until thursday o be sure they would last that long without getting eaten by everyone.

By the way, do you know what you're doing for Shabbat meals yet?

It's tricky; the Reunion Party friday night is at 9, so by the time tefillot are over ... not sure if I can GO to a Shabbat dinner and still make an appearance at the party. I wanted to eat at Hillel like in the old days, but I hear from you nobody does that anymore, which makes me sad on a global level, but anyway. So I'm REALLY not sure what to do about dinner. Thoughts?

Lunch, we're doing the alumni picnic, of course, and will probably go to shul in the morning. But seudah shelishit looks open, lol. And we're around for hello-ing all afternoon, except for the Sing Along with Monty at 4. Can't miss that, you know.

Yeah I've been in Penn Singers for 3 semesters.. I had an awkward moment this year... after the president told me that I couldn't audition for a lead at the beginning of the semester (I'm shomer shabbat and miss friday night performances), at the end of semester I proposed an amendment to the constitution/by-laws to deal with religious observance and felt like a complete ass. ("We shouldn't require them to have to come to a percentage of performances", "Of course they can audition for a lead! What are you talking about?")

I just felt like everyone was looking at me like I was an idiot and that I was doing it for attention. But it had been on my mind that my position in the company had felt so precarious, even thoguh the president denied later that she had ever said such a thing. As a sheltered little orthodox girl, I don't really belong there.

We had observant people in Singers when I was there, and there were UNDERSTUDIES for Friday nights. Talk to Monty. I know he doesn't run things anymore, but he should be able to push people. Seriously. I thought it was awesome back then that we did that. Me - back then I wasn't as observant, but I was glad we allowed our observant members to have leads.

How's you figure out I was in Singers? :o)

Do me a favor and give me a call tomorrow (401-474-1665). I'm thinking of maybe doing something small, and either you could go to the party late, or make an appearance at the party and then go to dinner. dinner isn't likely to start until 9:00ish anyways. We could make it a late dinner.

Though theoretically i could eat at hillel, and if I didn't make this meal, there would be another 2 lovely friends of mine at hillel as well.

It's just that meal food is a lot better...

And I have no clue what's going on for seudah shlisheet. I was on the committee for the past 2 years, but we're done for the year. I'm guessing maybe hillel has something planned, but no clue. i suppose we could make that or something...
