I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in! I got in!

To Harvard Divinity, that is.

I didn't get any financial aid, so tuition is 24000 a year. Still significantly less than Penn. I think that I'll still be able to go, since I'm in no dire need of funding, and I'll have a stipend for my PhD (hopefully).

*sigh*

Congrats - I'll call you next time I'm in Philly (or you call me when you're going to DC next) and we'll go out for celebratory drinks.

Dude! We talked about that three times today! People who go to school "in Boston" or "in Connecticut." Yay worlds colliding.

I'm not quite sure I get the "in Boston" thing. As in people say that to avoid saying Harvard and Yale?

Indeed. Based on the people I've conversed with, it seems to often also carry the undertone of I'm-really-smart-but-pretending-to-be-modest but-doing-it-on-such-a-way-that if-you're-smart-too-you'll-figure-out what-I-really-mean-when-I-say-that "I go to school in Boston/Connecticut."

i tell people i go to penn. if people interpret that as Penn State I rarely correct them. In my 4 years
I've maybe done it 5 times. Other people sometimes correct them, or otherwise it doesn't really matter. Though I can't get away with that for Harvard, I'll actually have to tell them...
