Casting just went out for Teatron. Luckily, my nightmare did not come true.

That's right, yours truly is Mrs. Trotsky [not actually Natalia Sedova, just plain ol' Mrs. Trotsky] in "Variations on the Death of Trotsky." (

arigi is Trotsky and A.J. is Ramon [He looks pretty ugly in that picture, but our Ramon will be young and strapping]. In one of the variations Mrs. Trotsky and Ramon are having an affair...)

I think this is the only time in Rachel history that I've actually gotten the part I wanted (in HS I got bit parts and in college I've never made it in until now. I would have been happy with anything, but this is mamash the part I wanted.)

So anyone who is up for a trip to Philadelphia- my show is February 14th, 15th, and 17th. If you're coming for Shabbat I'll invite you to my semi-exclusive Teatron pre-show deli-roll meal.
