I went to student health. I got there early and they saw me right away, and I got out very early. (I have a slight fever, but no strep, and I should gargle a lot of salt water and I should be fine by Friday. Huzzah!) So I went back to Hillel, and on my way back, I saw Ben! So I took a detour and walked with him towards the library, since I still had 15 minutes until I had to work.

It turns out that the site report stuff is actually really easy. He just wants me to describe all the miqva'ot and their related artifacts, and their related features (such as water sources) and compare them, and make some sort of argument (like whether or not they were halachic miqva'ot by the standards they had back then. Figuring out the standards will be difficult since no one knows his bed with a note in it lashow much an amah or a log or a seah really is). And that should take 20 pages. I could work on it tonight, but the books are in the museum library, and I refuse to go get them now. So I'll work on it tomorrow after class.

I think I've dedicated my entire existence this year to writing this thesis for Ben. He's the only person who could make me do this much work, and actually enjoy doing it.

I still have to do Jewish Studies stuff today, and I have to send in the stuff for the award I'm applying for. A.M. from JitW gave me a lot of shiny miqvah sources. And I found a lot of stuff on kolot. So I have to read through everything and write tonight so I have something to bring to tomorrow's meeting.

And [livejournal.com profile] cynara_linnaea gave me a Magical Trevor doll today! (It finally came after being backordered for months.) I'll post a picture when I'm less lazy.

And A.B. likes his Jayne hat, which I left for him in a box on his bed with a note in it last night. So now we're hat twins. We might be double hat twins if I get a shiny Indiana Jones hat for Channukah. That's what I'm asking my parents for. I'll have to buy the whip on my own, though, since I'm sure none of you trust me with one and thus would not get me one for Channukah.

I just made a trip upstairs to turn on the frying machine in the meat kitchen, and I'm dizzy again. So once my shift ends I'm retiring to my room to eat a popsicle and take a nap. And now I'm having a cough drop, which I got from the doctor at student health. And I got some non-asprin and some thermometers and some sudafedesque stuff.

Hopefully I'll feel better soon.

I dunno, there seem to be enough people willing to buy me sharp pointy objects.
