more sickness
Nov. 26th, 2006 05:38 pmMy voice is semi-gone. It's really hoarse, and my throat hurts, and I was nauseous this morning, and I'm dizzy now, and I've been coughing a lot.
It wouldn't matter, except I'm finally leading kabbalat shabbat this week after waiting 10 months. And now I'm sick!!!!!
I'll still do it, even if it kills me. But now it won't be half as much fun.

Date: 2006-11-26 11:13 pm (UTC)what exactly would be the point of that?
if you still have a sore throat and hoarse voice on friday, leading kabalat shabbat will seriously suck for both you and the rest of CJC.
why not just rest up and lead at the womens one the week after?

really i'm starting the prayers and driving them along. very litte of it would be just me singing.
and even with a sore throat i can still sing in key
