I ended up going to the unity service, since we got all of koach to go. And then

arctic_alpine asked if I wanted to do ma'ariv. That would have never happened at Penn, since there would already be someone to do it. The only things that aren't given out in advance are the saturday afternoon services. So I led ma'ariv, and we had shabbat dinner, and I ate a ton to make up for the fact that breakfast was a banana and coffee, and lunch was non-existent. So of course my stomach hurt afterwards, but at least I wasn't dead. (And don't lead ma'ariv on an empty stomach. Bad idea.)

There was this program after dinner on unity, where we learned about the Pittsburgh platform. Stevie didn't know what it was and Ronen was impressed that I knew the date (doesn't everyone who grows up Reform learn about the Pittsburgh platform?) So it was an interesting program, and then i was really tired so Stevie walked me back to

arctic_alpine's apartment, and I started learning my leining. Then

arctic_alpine came back and we talked and then I went to sleep.

This morning I had to learn the last few lines of my leining during davening. But somehow I did it, and I didn't make so many mistakes, and I got to use

boroparkpyro's cool trop, or an adaptation of it. It sounds better when he does it.

Lunch was also good, though I liked the dinner food better. And then there was a discussion on pluralism at UMD, which didn't really apply to me so much, but it was interesting to hear what their issues are.

I led mincha, which was shiny. I've decided that shabbas mincha nusach is my favorite nusach.

And then we hung out at Anna & Bev's until Shabbat ended, and then I came back here and now I suppose I'll be responsible and try to get some thesisizing done, since I have a meeting with Ben tomorrow. Though we're cooking in a half hour for

arctic_alpine and

rivka_m's combined birthday party.
