Plonit!!!

I visited platypuses, and as I was about to leave I opened my phone in the hope that maybe she had healed...

She's working again!

And her name is Plonit now (or Plonit bat Rachel). So now tomorrow seems more managable, seeing as I don't have to make the trek to Center City.

And I decided to be nice to myself and take the train to DC and back, because I've been having so many Greyhoundscapades lately. And either Ben will be coming down on Wednesday and I can go with him and talk about the thesis and get stuff done, or I'll be going on my own, which means I could get work done on Wednesday before I leave, and leave late, since moss_raven isn't getting home until late. And everyone is happy.

It's so nice not to be traveling erev Shabbat.

That happened once with my old phone. It was just a lil annoying. I was stuck in the Louisville airport waiting for a severely delayed flight back to Philly, and I couldn't call anyone. People could call me, and I could hear them, but they couldn't hear me.

I had it once 2 years ago where my phone did the whole being able to hear but not being heard by others thing. It was at the worst possible time, and I was going insane. And then I got a new phone, and that one broke once in 2nd semester that year, and I didn't have a land line or internet in my room at that point, but luckily it was right before spring break so I just went home and replaced my phone at the Verizon store there. That replacement phone never broke, but I got a free upgrade last November to the phone I currently have. This one had been working fine until yesterday, so that's a year of non-breakingness. I guess that's pretty good.

I forgot to mention that my phone inexplicably started working again right before my plane actually look off. Weird.

Not sure, since I haven't bought the tickets yet. Hopefully I'll find out by tonight whether or not Ben is coming down on Wednesday, and if he is, when he's planning to.

You have work until 10:30, right? Because if Ben isn't coming down on Wednesday, there's no reason for me not to take a late train that gets in around then.
