Nothing I can do about it at the moment
Nov. 13th, 2006 03:43 amI was about to go to sleep, but realized that the piece of plexi-glass that covers the part of my window not covered by the AC had fallen down. I put it back up, and a few minutes later it fell again. And I didn't want the cold air coming in, so I said to myself "hey, it's about time I take out that AC.."
So I opened up the window to get the AC out-
-and before I could do anything, it fell, 2 stories down.
I'd be really upset, but it's too darn hiarious! It fell! Out the window!
This is why you need 2 people to remove air conditioners.
The unit is pretty old, so I can only hope that it wasn't too expensive. I won't need air conditioning again until April, so that's not a problem. But I'm not looking forward to calling my parents tomorrow to tell them what became of the AC.
Other than calling them, I don't know what else there is to do. I'm sure it's broken beyond repair...
This explains why I had no logistical nightmares returning from JitW...
*Edit* I un-friendslocked this, since I talked to Mom today about it. She laughed and said that we needed to get a new one anyways.
