boroparkpyro says that tired dialing is like drunk dialing. I disagree. There's just something rediculous about drunk-dialing someone (or being drunk dialed) that isn't there with tired-dialing. I can't quite put it into words. Hmm.
Oh here- being drunk impairs your judgement, and you're much more likely to say/do something stupid. With tired-dialing, you're just slower. You drunk-dial your ex boyfriend or girlfriend and tell them how you're still attracted to them and want to hook up. You don't do that with tired-dialing. I mean, I've never done that. I've only been drunk 3 times in my life, and the only person I called was my friend Maureen....Though one night on the dig Phil, one of the Brits, made a very potent punch, and I did call Tanhum after that to ask if I could come for Shabbat lunch...I don't really think that counts as drunk-dialing though, since I think I was only slightly tipsy.
