To do list
May. 29th, 2006 10:19 pmSo I have a lot of things to do this break. I got a start today. I'll try to update this and you can see my progress:
Write thank you note to BJERI for their scholarship
Notify Jewish studies about receiving the Dorot grant (And it didn't reduce my amount of funding! Yay!)
Get reservations at Beit Shmuel for the beginning of my trip (they're the hostel at the HUC campus, which means easy access to their library!!!)
Give Dorot my acceptance letter from Dor so I can be sent the check
[I'm also supposed to give them my plane ticket and a letter from the director of Dor stating my participation. So I'll do it all after Israel.]
Fill out sheet for Dorot that says I agree to give them all the info [and write a letter to Dorot in RI telling them about my trip] by Sept 29th.
Lose the last20 28 24? lbs
Give Stern my paper [E-mailed, since I never got around to giving him a hard copy. Ooops!] *he said he'd read it some time in the next few weeks...
Read the books for my thesis
Unpack my stuff
Buy pants for the dig
Buy boots for the dig [Micah said you don't actually need boots, though he likes his, but rather you need a pair of footwear with good traction used only for digging. So I got sneakers.]
Buy a hat for the dig [Yay for cool stores on thayer street.
Call Yaakov and Dede and figure out what I'm doing between when I get to Baltimore and when shavuot starts- 10 hours later! [I called, I left a message. No response yet...]
Find Teen Girl Squad Kippah [at least I still have the pattern...] I didn't find it, but I bought a new needle. So I'll start again at some point. In the meanwhile, I'll work on something else, even when the blanket is done.
Finish Blanket
Make another blanket for a certain couple whose wedding I'll have to miss...
Give Dorot my acceptance letter from Dor so I can be sent the check
[I'm also supposed to give them my plane ticket and a letter from the director of Dor stating my participation. So I'll do it all after Israel.]
