Today I found out that I got a Dorot grant! For 1000$! It's shiny.

N.B. got one as well, so I'm happy, since it would have been bad if she didn't get it, since I have the additional funding from Jewish studies and the RI federation.

Is everyone paying me to go to Israel because they don't want hobbits in America?

well assuming this doesn't decrease the Jewish Studies grant, I'll have 2750$ in scholarships. My budget comes out to $5183 as I have it in my application, which includes things like photocopying [and everytime I say that it sounds dirty!] and museum entry, and foodness. But not general spending money. But if we assume this is a pretty accurate budget, that's still 2433$ that my parents are still spending. But more than half is covered. :)
