I'm about to go to Israel. I should be asleep, but I just got back from carousing with Celine 30 minutes ago, and I need some internet before bed.
Shabbat was pretty quiet. At the F.'s house besides me there was Y.R. (from Brown/JitW), her boyfriend D. from Toronto, and A. I had never met D. before. He's pretty cool, and he had a lot of interesting things to say. And he went to Malei Gilboa, and everyone to come out of that yeshiva who I've met thus far in my life has been a cool person. If I were a guy I would totally go there.
Celine came over to my house at around 8:15. For Chanukkah she gave me a set of 2 mix CDs with some amazing music on them. There were a bunch of songs from the musical Altar Boyz, and one of them Celine described as the greatest song ever. And I have to agree with her. If you could hear the music and how it's being sung you would get the whole effect, but I guess imagine it as a typical slow ballad sung by a boy band.

So while this song is about religious Catholics, it could totally be about religious Jews.
And now I need to knit Celine a scarf for Christmas, but I don't have the materials here with me in RI, since I brought yarn for specific projects, and all of my mom's yarn is acrylic. I could look through the stash before I leave, but I have enough projects on my plate as is.
Now time to download some patterns before I go to bed!
