All-nightering
Jul. 22nd, 2007 01:40 amI'm on page 143, having a late start with my book being delivered to my house while I was away for Shabbat. Right before shabbat, I was lucky enough to get a heter to read HP7 during the 9 days, since there were potential issues with enjoying something you've been waiting forever for. Same person said that they wouldn't open any correspondence on Shabbat, though it was moot in this case. And I think if they're that machmir on Shabbat, then that's good enough for me.
It's also 1:43 am. Page 143 at 1:43.
Is anyone else staying up tonight? I suppose you're probably not online if you're engrossed in HP7. I'm starting to get hungry, so right now I'm snacking on bagel chips, though I should make real food at some point.
Maybe I'll go to sleep and read the rest tomorrow. Would that make me a Harry Potter heretic?
Though this is much more pleasant than all-nightering for my thesis, or for papers, or for studying for exams. This is a worthy all-nighter. And I can sleep in if I'd like.
