Death troubles

The one bad thing about finishing my thesis is that I now lack motivation to do any other work, since I feel done. Unfortunately I still have a Death paper. I offered Janet an alpaca scarf and a batch of biscotti in place of the paper, and she said the department wouldn't like that too much, though she'd be happy with anything I gave her.

Thus, I write the paper tonight and tomorrow, mostly in Silver Spring, and submit it via e-mail.

And I get to stay with MT for Shabbat!!! (Which also means I get to see alanscottevil. I assume he told you I'm coming, right?)

Where's my "fine Christian blessing"??

I ran into Ben and Jenny today, sitting on a bench outside, eating lunch.

I get to meet w/Ben monday morning, provided i get off of my lazy bum and read the Bronze age stuff. Which I will, just for him. I might even take notes! And I think he'll get cookies. He doesn't know that by cancelling yesterday's meeting he robbed himself of some good cookies.

I'm hungry. I'm gonna stop [not] working on the Death paper and go home for some foodage.
