Mar. 14th, 2007 08:26 pmMy thesis is due in 2 weeks if I want the anthro prize. I made this detailed schedule for Ben of when I was going to work on each section. Then I got sick on Monday, and am lagging behind.
I spent today finishing my Hebrew U application. In the end it wasn't so bad, but it turns out I forgot a lot of Hebrew, so the Hebrew test was not pleasant for the 2nd half. They said spend only 60 minutes on it anyways, so at the point where I couldn't answer it I just stopped.
I have 2 GIS homeworks that I should have done before going to China and have not had time for. And I started to panic a few minutes ago, even though the plan for tonight was just to finish one of them.
Thus, I think I am withdrawing from the GIS class. But I still want to audit it. I enjoy the lectures, but I just don't have time to do the assignments. I'm going to talk to Dr. Tomlin tomorrow. But I wanted to talk to Ben tonight, to be sure that it was a good idea. But I think he'll support anything that gives me more time to write my thesis. And he felt bad for me today and told me to get rest. I'm quite visibly sick. It's not pretty. Unfortunately Ben did not answer his phone when I called tonight (though that's not unusual) but hopefully he'll check his voicemail and get back to me before my class at 9am tomorrow. At this point I've given up on the assignments. I might not do anything productive tonight, though I should at least read my other source about Tzippori that I have in my backpack.
But on the plus side, we have sandal weather now in Philly. I'm in a flowy skirt and short sleeves today. Though this weekend it's supposed to be cold again.
