For those of you who were playing tonight, I actually found the Bill Gates story:

There's an entry on the game itself in wikipedia, and it tells the solution there. I'm amused that we all figured it out more quickly than Bill Gates did.

There's a project to make an educational video game that will help kids learn about history and the importance of artifacts and stuff. They presented it on Friday. The game still needs a lot of work (and a lot of funding) but the concept is pretty cool. You can download and play the game at the website above.
