Making the ugly beautiful

My photography is a bit deceptive, making Penn look a lot prettier than it actually is. I just chose the best views and shot them. I might go up to the rooftop lounges and take more pictures this week. Maybe today.

And my glasses are fixed. And I got a package today, but sadly it was not my patiche. It was a book on Rockingham ware for my historical archaeology class. I ordered it before classes started and it came today! I had forgotten about its existence, and luckily we haven't needed it in class yet. Though still, it should have come way sooner than it did.

Rachel's Building is Not on Fire

The fire alarm in my building went off. I started to gather my stuff ("stuff" being my laptop and camera) and heading out, and then the alarm stopped. So I went into the hall to see if I could figure out what happened. It was either a false alarm or a small fire that was quickly contained. The world may never know.

At least it wasn't my doing.
