Your hard earned money at work

I think one of my biggest pet peeves about Penn is the sprinklers.

Ok, so it's bad enough that they always seem to be going off when I want to leave the highrises. But that's not the worst part.

They still go off when it's raining out!

I really think the grass would be fine if the sprinklers were to be manually overridden and not go off during a rainstorm. I mean, come on! You've got to be kidding me, right?

platypuses is over. We're going to watch law & order. We just burnt the popcorn b/c I wasn't paying enough attention and was iming maric23 about cameraness.

It's still smoking.

I felt a little fat this afternoon after looking in platypuses' mirror and seeing my stomach. When did that happen? I just got back from digging!

So I realized that I probably can't keep up the beautiful diet of chocolate and ice cream (or chocolate ice cream) even if I bike and go to the gym almost every day, since I'm not working out full-time like I was on the dig.

I also decided to go to the gym. I was talking with E-hobbit* at dinner and asked if she was interested in going to the gym. She said maybe.

So I called her when I finished dropping off stuff for Raphi (and already had my gym clothes with me) and asked if she wanted to go gymming. She said she was on her way back from FG. I was sitting outside the highrise, so 2 seconds later I saw her. And she decided to come gymming with me.

I showed her how to use the elliptical, and we worked out for a half hour and now I'm back here.

I got a nice endorphin (sp?) rush, though I feel a bit light-headed or something.

I also feel no less fat, so I might do crunches or something before I go to bed.

I know, I'm not actually fat. I don't need people to tell me that (though I would appreciate it). I've just been less careful in my eating habits for the past few weeks since I got so used to needing like a billion calories a day, and now I don't need that many. I'm going back to my diet of whole wheat pasta. Though I still have all that ice cream in the freezer. Anyone want to have an ice cream party tomorrow night?
