Errands!!!

It's 1:37 in the afternoon and I've already ran a billion errands!

I woke up at 7:15ish (you have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, so my dad woke me up when he went by) though my alarm was set for 7:45. After washing (something between a bath and a shower since I didn't have a curtain and there was nothing to plug the drain with) and getting dressed we headed out.

Fist we went to Genaurdi's, because there's a Starbuck's there, because we had to get groceries, and because we needed to find a hardware store, so we asked the people there. They lent us a phone book and we found one way down Lancaster. So since I didn't want my groceries to go bad, we went to the hardware store before buying anything from Genaurdi's (besides coffee...)

So the hardware store was a 15 minute drive down Lancaster (the street we had been going down all along). It was in Bryn Mawyr (sp?). [livejournal.com profile] batshua, I thought of you.

It was a small little place called Suburban Hardware. Of course the guy working there and my dad got into a discussion about small independent hardware stores. And I saw that he gave us a discount!

After hardwaring we went to Bed Bath & Beyond to get some folding chairs and to get another set of sheets, for the guest bed, so that way when people come and sleep on my guest bed they'll have sheets!

Then we went back to Genaurdi's and got food.

Then we went to the sketchy place on Belmont to get me validated for PECO so I can switch the energy account into my name. It only took a minute and was fine. I'm glad I went then since we drove and I didn't have to walk through sketchville.

Finally we arrived in the apartment. We put in the air conditioner and put up the shower curtain. Dad ate a sandwich and then he went home. (I still haven't eaten yet...) I unpacked some of my clothing, and then headed out.

I finally returned my archaeology book. The reason the computer wouldn't let me renew it was because CAJS books can only be renrewed once! Now they tell me. I got the 100$ lost fee removed, since the book was never lost and they have it back now, and I only have the overdue fee, which I think went directly into my bursar. And it was a great weight lifted off my shoulders, both physically and emotionally speaking. (Though it was a very thumpable book, [livejournal.com profile] boroparkpyro...)

Then I headed to the anthro museum. Janet Monge was gone for the day, but she'll be around tomorrow. And I got a sheet from Gerianne to count my credits from Bar-Ilan. I have to finish typing up everything and send it in. And I have to scan the top plan and basket list. Of course, I could be doing that now except that I don't have it with me. But the musuem library has a scanner and a computer and you can turn things into PDF files on it. Perfect for e-mailing.

I'm sure even with the lateness I'll have some sort of A or B. It doesn't matter as long as I get above a C, since the grade doesn't go into my transcript.

Hopefully they'll give me 2 credits. Gerianne said I could probably get away with it.

And I found out that I'm not missing any classes for the high holidays this semester (and even tzom Gedaliah is on a non-class day, so I can sleep in or something). None at all. And I have 4 day weekends. I could totally go and visit Wheaton and see all my Safi friends!

And this will be post 998. Don't worry, I'm steadily working on that post 1000 for all y'all!
