(no subject)

I'm in America. I'm safe. I miss Israel.

Maybe eventually I'll do a real update, but right now I'm starving and as soon as dinner is ready, I'm eating it.

(There might have been a context. Oh yeah. alanscottevil didn't want to go to Qumran if he was going to die. I told him he wouldn't since we would bring lots of water, and if we ran out there were always the miqva'ot.)

*Actually they're only about 2300 years old, but that's ok. He still gets points.

Weight loss (of the feline variety)

So I came home from Israel, and mom says "notice anything different about your cat?"
Me: Um, no.
Mom: Go pet him.
So I did. And I realized that he, Mittens, had lost weight. I hadn't noticed until she pointed it out because all the cats in Israel are so tiny. But Mittens is no longer a big fat fuzzball. Maybe he was doing archaeology while I was away. :)
