I should be packing
May. 28th, 2006 10:22 amI was up until 3:30 last night. Dena and I were going to see X-men 3, but the 12am showing was sold out. And they had 3 theatres full of people!!! WTF? It's not like there are any students around right now, and wouldn't most people see it when it came out on Friday? But then we headed to Ben & Jerry's and then we watched "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." Very good movie.
So I'm operating on < 4 hours of sleep. I'm mostly done packing and my dad is getting here around 12 [possibly 11 if traffic was moving quickly, but I doubt it.] I have a little bit of time.
I made 3 shabbat meals, which is my record. Usually I just do one. Once in a while I do two. But yesterday I even did se'udah shlisheet (which was milcheig). I still have leftover food, which would be fine except that I'm leaving. I could eat the deli-roll now, though then I'll be fleishig...Though I'd be un-fleishig by 1:30ish, depending on how long it took me to eat it. So still plenty of time that I could have a caramel frappuchino on the ride home [assuming there's a Starbuck's at one of the rest stations. I think there may be...]
And other than that life is pretty boring. I still have tons of thesis work to do. I never got a chance to drop off a copy of my paper for Stern to read. Maybe I can convince someone who is here for the summer to print it out for me and put it in his box...Or I could e-mail it, since that's better than nothing...
