Shlomo was here visiting from Israel for the past week, and he left this morning. I was glad that he came and visited us, though wish he could have stayed for longer. Even if he did have his evil mac laptop with him.

A poem

An ode to those that have exams:

Environmental studies is not a fun class
Even if I study, I doubt I will pass
My brain still hurts from anthropology
Maybe I should major in hobbitology
Or make deli-roll to improve my grade
And my debt to the sciences will have been paid
If I had been an engineer instead
I'd be so studied out, I'd actually be dead
So it's good that I just have environmental studies in my head
After tomorrow I can go to bed!

I think I'm going to try nano this year. Yes, I will attempt to write 50,000 words. I might do a BT story [perhaps myself] or maybe I'll write more generally about faith and spirituality [and do things like quote sources and stuff!]

Maybe I'll do a sci-fi or fantasy novel. Like re-do what I had of Rydia [to make it actually good] and continue onwards. Or start something completely new.

Do any of these sound good? Any other ideas?

And if it starts coming along and you want to read it, give me your e-mail, and I'll send it to you provided I actually write something and I'm not ashamed of it.

Chuck actually did start smoking again. Apparenty he had only quit for a little while. I was talking to him and he pulled out a pack of cigarettes and put one behind his ear. I was quite surprised, and a bit disappointed, though it's probably not my place to judge. They're his lungs, not mine.
