So yesterday when I took the A train home, I didn't have a seat. So naturally, I started crocheting while standing up [since everyone does that, right?] Then a guy offered me a seat. Turns out his mother always used to crochet him stuff.

Then today in my building a frum woman and I got to the laundry machines at the same time. I had 3 loads to put in the wash and she had 1 already in which had 10 minutes left and one that she needed to put in. So I told her to take one of the washing machines and I would just put my load in afterwards. Then she said when she came to take her first load out, she could put in mine. So I left the quarters in the machine, hoping for the best.

When I came back, lo and behold! My 3rd load was in the washing machine, being washed. Then I saw the woman again on the elevator ride back, and I told her about the remaining dryer [I could have waited 10 minutes for my 3rd load to finish, but I decided I'd just use the next dryer when one of my other 2 loads was done drying.]

I also had a small bag of cherios today that Estie gave me, and I asked the homeless guy that's always outside of Drisha if he wanted it. He said yes, so I gave it to him. I'm not bragging, more just thinking that perhaps my good luck today was due to my giving food to the homeless guy.

dreams

So 2 nights ago I had a weird dream. I don't remember most of it, but at one point me and my mom were sitting in the family room [which is strange because usually in my dreams people are different people {usually fictional} and places always are different. But my family room lookd normal!!] There were some Jehova's Witnesses at the door. It started to rain, and they had been traveling by foot, so my mom let them in, and we started debating Torah with them.

Then yesterday, in reality now, I was walking past the Mormon temple on the way back from grabbing tasty-d-lite with what little lunch time I had, and there were these 2 men outside the temple, who asked me if I'd like to look inside [usually you have to be a Mormon to go inside a Mormon temple]. I declined for 3 reasons.

1- Churches in general freak me out. I don't like all the crosses, especially ones with the image of Jesus.
2- I was running late
and 3- Halachically it's forbidden to enter a church.

I just think it's funny that the dream and the Mormon incident happened within the same 24 hours.
