In NY

So I'm at Celine's place right now. I got to New York yesterday at 11, and I'm going home today on the 1:30 bus.

I've pretty much decided that I'm going to live in the Heights for the summer. [Though Kressel, I definitely would love to visit you]. There are 4 apartments that I visited. 2 I like, 2 I'd take if the others aren't available. All are under 600$ a month.

I met up with marlowe1, kellev, smokingredmoon, and cleobatya. I met them over at marlowe1's apartment [since he also lives in the heights.] He has 3 cats, all of which are adorable. cleobatya had to leave early to catch a bus home, and fortunately she made the bus [they had to send a second one because the first was full]. The rest of us went to a chinese place for dinner. I am definitely enjoying the multitude of kosher restaurants here. And Tasty de-lite is so addictive. Fortunately it's low fat. And I was walking all day yesterday, so I earned it.

Apartment'd

I found an apartment for the summer. Actually I got my first choice of the 4 apartments, which is quite nice. whee!

It's in 56 Bennet Ave. The girl I'll be living with, Estie, is actually friends with Dredze. We were going to mess with him and not tell him, except today he asked me who I was living with and I tried to avoid the question, but ended up telling him. Stupid Mark foiling my brilliant plans!

I'll be moving in somewhere between June 1-3.
