Pesach cleaning!
Apr. 21st, 2005 01:29 amI did a lot of my own cleaning. Then I had my chametz/bassar fest in the 4th floor lounge. I had food cooking in 3 rooms at once- 2 pots of pasta constantlt going in 403, 2 foreman grills grilling burgers in the lounge, and little hot dogs in 412, though those were done soon enough. So then I was only running back and forth between 2 rooms. We made so much pasta. But there was still a lot left over. But none of it was mine, so I succeeded in getting rid of all of my fleishig and pareve chametz. I still have some cookies, though. But I can't eat them here! I have to actually eat in my kitchen!!!
Actually, I have internet access in my common room, so I could bring my laptop over...
Anyways, afterwards I stuck around to clean up my stuff, and make sure no one else wanted pasta. Then I washed my pots in 403, and they started to clean for pesach. I helped them a bit whilst doing my Hebrew homework. This was my last Hebrew assignment for the semester. I had to write 2 pages about Yehuda Amichai's poem "ירושלים." It took me forever [I started at like 10-ish and finished at 12:30] but most of that time wasn't spent on the Hebrew. Once Raphi made me actually work [11:30ish] I was productive.
However, before that, I managed to injure myself. Josh Schainker and I were moving a couch, and we went too fast and ran over my toe with the couch. It's still bleeding a bit, but it doesn't hurt anymore and it's all bandaged.
But Yay! No more Hebrew essays for 4 months!
