it's 2:19 am and i still can't sleep, even after lying in bed for an hour with relaxing music, then going to the rooftop lounge with shalhevet since there were all these firetrucks and stuff, then reading esther's essay, and drinking warm milk.

any other suggestions?

wow, i feel like an idiot

So Naomi asked if I could make her a kippah with her Hebrew name, and I was like "sure." So I started a few days ago, and yesterday I got to doing the lettering [I had it all drawn up in a pattern]. Only when I'm on the last row do I realize my mistake- I was following the pattern from right to left, instead of the left to right I'm supposed to do, and the letters were all backwards [which is why it was looking funny.]

Fortunately, the kippot that I make are nice enough that you can wear them inside out [I usually get annoyed when people do that, but this will be an exception.] The name reads normally when the kippah is inside out. And most people don't know when they're wearing a kippah inside out. So it's all good.

But I still feel like an idiot.
