wow, i feel like an idiot
Feb. 10th, 2005 03:13 pmSo Naomi asked if I could make her a kippah with her Hebrew name, and I was like "sure." So I started a few days ago, and yesterday I got to doing the lettering [I had it all drawn up in a pattern]. Only when I'm on the last row do I realize my mistake- I was following the pattern from right to left, instead of the left to right I'm supposed to do, and the letters were all backwards [which is why it was looking funny.]
Fortunately, the kippot that I make are nice enough that you can wear them inside out [I usually get annoyed when people do that, but this will be an exception.] The name reads normally when the kippah is inside out. And most people don't know when they're wearing a kippah inside out. So it's all good.
But I still feel like an idiot.
