At Jessica's request, a rant on salt.
Well I guess the problem at Penn isn't so much the salt they use to de-ice everything, but their lack of plowing. Seriously, even today the path in front of North is still partially blocked. The stairs are ok now, bt there's still a lot of snow in front of the handicap ramp. WTF! Do they think that people in wheelchairs have magic rocket engines that'll bost them above the snow?
Why do we have class? My feet get cold from walking in this snow, and the slush is ruining my skirts. I'm sure the salt doesn't help either.
At least it's benefitting someone. My dad's store was open yesterday, being an "essential business." But on Saturday they had sold out of shovels, ice melt, and everything else snow-related. So I didn't see the point of them opening Monday. But supposedly they were getting in a new shipment.
Wow. That was a horrible rant. I'm so off topic. Please don't assault me.
