omg, i'm such an idiot

I got some clothes at target when i was at home for thanksgiving...the sweater i got was furry, kinda like the mohair i'm using for a scarf i'm making [so i made sure the yarn i put it with was nylon and not cotton....

which made me think...what if my sweater had linen in it...

i took it off to put on pjs...

Lo and behold, my sweater is shatnes! [shatnes, for those you don't know, is a BIBLICAL {from the big G directly} prohibition that you can't wear garments made of linen and wool together.] I was wearing shatnes all shabbat long! [except during the ng meal, when I was hot and changed into a regular black shirt.] I'm going to have to go through everything now!

Since I had worn it and taken off the tag and all, there's no way I could have returned it.

So I gave it to Gwen, who it should fit. It's a really pretty sweater. It's black.

Man I feel like an idiot.

The Newsgroup Meal rocked my socks! 22 people! It was so amazingly amazing. And we were social! [That was Julie's main concern, that we wouldn't talk to eachother...] The food also was amazing. Yay for food. I have leftovers of something, I'm not going to say what because it is mine, MINE!

We need to do this again. I love gigantic meals where I'm friends with everyone. It worked out that I was never really left out of a conversation. And I got people talking to eachother across really long tables.

Yay for the newsgroup. And for the awesome people in it.
