crazy morning of craziness
Nov. 26th, 2004 02:27 pmI finished my paper at 3:25 am. It was fun. Most of the time I was talking to Avi Ray, who did a great job of helping me procrastinate. Lisi asked to be in my story, which game me an idea, and so the character kinda based on her is in there, although she's no longer very Lisi-like. I could make her more-so, though, if I choose to write on. I've done enough for the class at least.
I feel so relieved. I'm almost done with my workload. 4 more papers, and then I'm finished! Maybe I should do the Hellerstein one on Saturday night [or at least an outline.] I want to get ahead of the game...
I woke up at 7 [went back to sleep, woke up at 7:10] for an 8am doctor's appointment. I even had time to daven beforehand! So we got there at quarter of, and it wasn't even open, so mom and I sat in the car.
Dr. Grenander didn't know why my foot was swollen, but said not to worry for now, since it's hurting less. Ideally I should get an ultrasound, but since Shabbat starts so early and I leave on Sunday, I knew I didn't have time. Maybe back at Penn I will... But at least it's not a blood clot.
We then went to CVS [dye!] and starbucks [coffee!] and then home to get warmer clothes. I forgot how cold RI can be. Then we went to the jewelry store to get my channukah present- a new watch. It tells time! I don't have to ask Michael what time it is every 2 seconds in Ben Amos! I can count down the time until Hebrew is over! I can keep my cell phone in my bag instead of on my desk! Yay!
Then I had a facial, and then I went home. I had a quick lunch but Iwas so tired that I had to nap... I'll sleep a lot this Shabbas.
In theory I should be trying to outline my Hellerstein paper right now, but I don't have the energy. That's a job for Saturday night, or Sunday morning if I wake up early.
Yay! Shabbat is almost here!
