Fire alarm yet again
Nov. 10th, 2004 01:16 pmIt went off at 4. Again I was tznius. This time I even brought a sweatshirt. At 4:15 we were back inside.
I think when the alarm went off I thought I could make it stop by turning off the alarm on my clock. I'm not very rational at 4am. So instead of waking up at 7 like I intended I woke up at 8:49. I had to be at the Archaeology museum, 15 minutes away, at 9:00.
Fortunately I had showered the night before. However, I still had to get dressed. And I had no time to daven.
At 9:20 I got to the Museum Cafe where I met Teagan, who wasn't expecting me that early in the first place! She was very helpful, and I still had 40 minutes afterwards to do my work [reading/commenting on the 2 stories] although I didn't finish.
I'm skipping Hebrew to type my responses up. I also need to put in contacts and brush my hair.
If an alarm goes off again in the next 2 weeks late at night I'm sleeping and getting the 500$ fine, or bringing a pillow out with me.
