Black socks, they never get dirty

Oh the joys of doing laundry in High Rise North!

So the washing machines on floor 4 were all taken, and someone from 911 said the ones around the 9th floor were broken [laundry rooms are on even floors]. I went to floor 12, and they were all not attached to the wall...

16 had a free washer, which I put my whites in. 18 had two free machines that I put darks and linens in.

Of course I managed to spill detergent powder everywhere. No one knows it was me.

I had a fun time getting it all back to my room.

There's a huge pile of whites on my bed. I curled up on them while they were warm. Like my cats used to. I miss my cats. I'll see them in 3 or so weeks.

Tonight I was in a not so good mood, so I visited Meira. I love Meira. She rocks.

I ended up doing no work...not such a good idea for me.

At least I'm back in class-mode. And Jennifer will understand, as long as I at least print out everyone's paper...though my printer has no ink!

So much for sleep, work, and cookies.

I hate being so darn nice

My mom is here. She had asked if I wanted her to come to Penn for a day. My response was meh. But I decided she could come, and ascertain that eveyrthing was ok.

In general it is, besides last night.

Of course now she wants me to do my homework. I feel like I can't go out and visit friends in North b/c that would be rude or something.

So I'm writing my Hebrew composition in a minute. Normally I would never have finished my homework so freaking early. Why???

She shouldn't be telling me what to do. I live my own life. I'll do my composition whenever I feel like it.

I have to learn how to stand up for myself.
