So for the first time since December break I saw Celine. Fortunately, although I've changed a lot since then, she's the kind of friend who accepts me for who I am and still knows me better than anyone else does.

We were talking about guys [it always comes to that] and she was saying that she found a certain type of eyes attractive, as well as having the guy be taller than her. I told her I thought that guys who had their tzitzit hanging out were attractive. She looked at me rather oddly, until I realized that she didn't know what tzitzit were. I explained. From the look she gave me, and the fact that I had made a downward mothion [since they are fringes hanging out of the shirt] I'm pretty sure of what she thought I meant...I don't think they make those types of Ortho boys...except in Chabad.

We had a good discussion about intermarriage. She doesn't think it's right that Jews shouldn't intermarry. I tried to explain the best that I could. At least I've convinced her that this is what is right for me.
