Today I walked to the old city to see Beckyness. We hung out for 2 hours, and she did a lot of last minute shopping.
When I saw the group, Scott Yarmovsky tried to hug me. I stopped him, and told him that I was shomer. He said "You're the last person I'd expect to become shomer."
Becky also told Baruch when they got back about my shomertude. He was like "the Reform movement loses another..."
Back to the old city...There was a random Israeli playing Yachad on the guitar. I love guys in tzitzit who can play guitar. Especially Israeli guys in tzitzit who can play guitar, and happen to play my favorite Israeli song.
Birthright gets in tomorrow. Yay for seeing Joey and Ariela!
And I called Uri, who said to call him in the next few days so we can get together. Getting off the phone with him, I realized that I miss him a bit. Not that much, though. I don't think about him every day, or even every week. [Definitely not as much as I think about other important people...] Once in a while, though, I look back on EIE and how it was one of the greatest times in my life, paralleled only by Penn.
