plus_c owns metal DDR pads. Unfortunately they're currently broken. I think when I have my own permanent place I'll save up for metal pads and thus have the ultimate DDRness.

Last night after groovin_reuven's birthday, Mikey and I went to his place and played DDR. We had DDRMax and DDRExtreme. Unfortunately, all of the good songs are on DDRMax2. But we unlocked a few, and that made me happy. And I needed the exercise. DDR is exercise for nerds.

And today after biking to 18th street and back home, I played DDR for an hour. I finally found my glasses, which are essential for DDR. If I play in contacts they start fogging up because I don't really blink, and they get really uncomfortable. Yay for glasses!

I'm getting back up to my old level, slowly but surely. I can't max combo any songs right now [and yes, that's really sad when some of them really are that easy] but I did get an A on something.

**Edit: I bought max 2 [yesterday]. Whee!

haha it so is good exercise!!! I'm getting ddr next year when our apartment will finally be big enough for there to be room for the pad.

OMG, how cool would it be if we did DDR at a JITW event? Like a motzei shabbas DDR tournament!

lol Im pretty terrible at it actually. My last summer at Kutz someone on staff brought pads and kept them in the staff lounge and people were on them ALL THE TIME. I don't think I've done it at all since...but goodness knows I am in need of a fun source of excersize.

I discovered ddr about a week before i left for israel this time around. but it was an azmazing week.

if i didn't have to bring an insane amount of stuff i would bring DDR to Israel... I'll do it when I make aliyah in a year, so if you're still at Pardes, then we could have DDR gatherings!
